VerseCraft Studio ("we," "us," or "our") creates custom songs based on stories and memories you share with us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

When you place an order, we collect:

• Contact information — your email address, so we can deliver your song and communicate with you.
• Order details — the occasion, recipient's name, musical style, tempo, emotional tone, and the story or memories you share for us to write the song from. This may include personal details about you and about other people (like the person the song is about).
• Payment information — payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Write and produce your custom song
• Deliver your song and respond to revision requests
• Process payment for your order
• Send order confirmations and, occasionally, updates about our service

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the stories you share with us for any purpose beyond creating your song, except with your permission (for example, if we ask to feature a testimonial).

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run VerseCraft Studio:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — sending order confirmation and delivery emails
• Netlify — website and application hosting
• Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this site, loaded from Google's servers
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising measurement, described further below

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

We retain order details (including the story you share) for as long as needed to deliver your song and handle any revisions, and afterward for our business records. You can request deletion of your story and order details at any time — see "Your Rights" below.

Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@versecraftstudio.com. We'll respond as promptly as we can.

Cookies & Analytics

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors reach our site through our advertising and to measure the effectiveness of our ads. It may set cookies and share information about your visit and purchases with Meta. You can control how Meta uses this data through your Facebook ad preferences, and browser settings or extensions (like ad blockers or "Do Not Track") can also limit it. Loading our webfonts (Google Fonts) also involves a request to Google's servers, which is standard for most websites using custom typefaces.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
